About the film

Could we make decisions without politicians? What happens when we try?

Goodbye Politicians, Hello Democracy follows thirty ordinary Michigan residents, chosen by lottery instead of election, working out real policy recommendations for their state — strangers from across the political spectrum. Are those people across the political divide our enemies, or are they people who can show us something about ourselves.

"This is a powerful and touching movie. I went to see a path for better government, but left touched by the actual humans who had the courage to listen to people different from them." — Brian

After the screening, stick around for Q&A with the filmmaker, Adam Cronkright.
